Privacy Notice

This notice describes what information may be collected when you use the site, why it is used, and when another party may receive it. It also explains the role of outside search, advertising, and analytics services. By continuing to use the site, you accept the practices stated here.

Information You Submit

Terms Entered in Search

A name, place, or other term entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party company operating that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our own systems. The provider's privacy rules apply to its handling of the query.

Messages Sent to Us

If you email us or send a message through a contact form, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Automatic Technical Information

Standard server and measurement tools may record limited technical details when a page loads. Those details can include:

  • Your internet protocol address.
  • The browser name and version in use.
  • Your device class and operating system.
  • Pages viewed and time spent on them.
  • The referring website, when supplied.
  • The date and time of each request.

Browser Cookies

Cookies help measure visits and understand how readers move through the site. You can block or clear them through your browser controls. Some site or partner features may work differently when cookies are disabled.

Purposes for Using Data

  • Operate the site and maintain useful load times.
  • Send a search request to the selected partner service.
  • Measure which pages and features readers use.
  • Detect faults, abuse, and other technical problems.
  • Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests.

Visiting Other Websites

Links may lead to YCSO's roster and records pages, Arizona court portals, ADCRR, federal locators, city police request systems, news sources, or outside search tools. Arizona public-record access, including access under A.R.S. ยงยง 39-121 and 39-121.01, does not make those government systems part of this site. Once you follow a link, the destination's own privacy policy controls its collection and use of data.

Advertising companies may use their systems to recognize activity across multiple websites and choose interest-based ads. That tracking occurs under the advertising partner's practices, not as a government-record function of this site.

Parties That May Receive Data

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be handled by the following parties when needed for the stated service:

  • Search providers that process submitted queries.
  • Analytics services that measure site use.
  • Advertising networks that deliver ads.
  • Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order.

Reasonable Security Measures

We use common administrative and technical safeguards suited to the information handled by the site. No online service, network, or storage method is entirely secure, however. We cannot promise that unauthorized access or a data breach will never occur.

Visitors Under Eighteen

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted information, they may use the Get in Touch page to request deletion.

Your Privacy Choices

  • Ask for a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of information that is wrong.
  • Request deletion where applicable.
  • Object to or opt out of certain processing where available.

Changes to This Notice

We may revise this privacy notice as practices or legal duties change. The updated version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
