For a Yavapai County jail booking report, booking photograph, or YCSO incident report, contact Yavapai County Sheriff's Office Records. The public counter is on the first floor at 255 E. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ 86301. Call 928-771-3260 or email ycsorecords@yavapaiaz.gov. Counter hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a person's current detention location, use the YCSO roster first, then call the detention information line at 928-567-7734 when the roster does not resolve the question.
One arrest can create records in several offices. Use the list below to reach the custodian for the exact document or custody stage you need.
- Current custody or a YCSO jail record: The home page explains the last-name roster and the separate YCSO request for a booking report or photo. Prescott and Camp Verde detention records remain YCSO records.
- Filed charge, minute entry, judgment, or disposition: Search Arizona Public Access Case Lookup, then request the official document from the Yavapai County Clerk of Superior Court. Prescott Courthouse is 928-777-7934, Camp Verde Superior Court is 928-567-7741, and public counter hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- State-prison record or offender photograph: Use the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry Inmate Data Search. ADCRR covers current and former Arizona state prisoners, not routine county pretrial custody.
- Federal custody: Search the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for people in the BOP system. Its results do not include inmate photographs, and a federal pretrial detainee may not appear there.
- Immigration custody: Use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. It is a custody locator, not a Yavapai booking-record or mugshot source.
- Prescott Valley police report: Submit through the Town of Prescott Valley records portal. Ask YCSO separately for the jail booking file or photograph.
- Prescott police report: Contact Prescott Police Records at 928-777-1988 or use the City of Prescott records portal. The city report and YCSO booking record are different files.
- Chino Valley police report: Use the Chino Valley Police records form, call 928-636-3600, or email policerecords@chinoaz.net. YCSO remains the custodian for the jail-side booking photo.
